The Washington Farmers Market will host a special Conservation Resource Fair next Saturday, September 27, at The Commons Event Pavilion from 8 a.m. to noon. The free, family-friendly event is organized by the Daviess-Martin CISMA and will feature booths on forestry, wildlife, soil health, and more. Visitors can see live fish from the Glendale Fish Hatchery, create nature-themed crafts, and enter to win prizes, including a Stihl battery-operated pruning saw. WAMW will broadcast live from 8–10 a.m. during the event. Families are encouraged to attend and learn more about local conservation efforts while enjoying the Farmers Market.
