United Way of Daviess County is kicking off its 2025 campaign with a community event at Scoops Homemade Ice Cream in Washington. The celebration runs from 5 to 7 p.m. this evening, and will feature a live broadcast with DeWayne Shake. Visitors can enjoy a free soft-serve cone with any donation, and Scoops will also donate a portion of its proceeds to the campaign. The evening includes fun giveaways, plus chances to win Holiday World tickets, Colts tickets, and shirts. United Way of Daviess County has invested more than $1.5 million locally over the past five years to support community programs.
