Governor Mike Braun has directed that flags across Indiana be flown at half-staff on Thursday, Sept. 11, in observance of Patriot Day. Flags at all state facilities will be lowered from sunrise to sunset in remembrance of the nearly 3,000 lives lost during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and in honor of the first responders who risked their lives to save others. The governor is also encouraging Hoosier residents and businesses to join in lowering their flags to honor the victims and heroes of 9/11.
