This weekend’s edition of “Fair Shake” with Brian Emmons will take listeners back more than 50 years to the Bull Island Rock Festival of 1972, often referred to as the “Woodstock of the Midwest.” Several local residents attended the historic event, and Emmons will share their stories along with music from that era. The program will air Saturday at 8:05 a.m. on The Razor 94.5 FM, 9:05 a.m. on Memories 107.9 FM, and 10:05 a.m. on The General 95.9/101.3 FM. Listeners are invited to tune in and hear reflections on one of the region’s most memorable music gatherings.
