The 32nd Annual Daviess Community Hospital Foundation Golf Benefit set a new fundraising record, bringing in $53,891 to support local health care programs. Held Aug. 7 at Country Oaks Golf Course in Montgomery, the event drew 120 golfers and dozens of sponsors. Proceeds will fund scholarships, advanced imaging technology, specialty care at the Lohano Center, and other patient-focused projects at Daviess Community Hospital. First place went to the team from Gonterman, Meyer & Havill, followed by Home Building Savings Bank in second and TM Office Solutions in third. Foundation Director Angie Steiner said the day was a success thanks to strong community support.
