Yesterday, the Town of Odon replaced a leaking valve at East Race and South Oak Streets, requiring a temporary water shutoff. Service was affected on West Race from South Spring to South Gum, as well as South Grove and South Oak. A boil order is in effect for all residents who lost water during the shutoff. Customers should bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking or cooking.
