The Indiana Department of Natural Resources has temporarily closed the public access launch at Patoka Lake Tail Waters because of high water levels in the reservoir.
The Army Corps of Engineers requested the closure as water discharge from the dam has been increased for safety.
The launch will reopen once levels return to normal.
In the meantime, boaters are encouraged to use alternate sites listed on the DNR’s Where to Fish map.
