The Daviess County Farm Bureau will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the Washington Community Building, starting at 6:30 p.m. Featured speaker will be Todd Davis, chief economist for the Indiana Farm Bureau, presenting “Tariff Update Since ‘Liberation Day’” and other key issues impacting local agriculture. Indiana Farm Bureau President Randy Kron said Davis’ role was created to help members better understand how policy issues and economics intersect amid inflation, high interest rates, volatile input prices, and tariffs.
