A driver was taken to Daviess Community Hospital Wednesday evening after a vehicle left the roadway and entered a field at the intersection of State Roads 358 and 58 near Elnora. The incident, reported at 5:36 p.m., involved a Chevy Equinox. Authorities say the driver was alert but appeared confused. EMS transported the driver to the hospital, and deputies followed. The vehicle sustained no visible damage and was towed from the scene.
