In a groundbreaking move for the UFC, the company has announced a seven-year, $7.7 billion contract with Paramount+, set to begin in 2026. This monumental deal, revealed by Dana White and Paramount on Monday, signifies a significant shift in the UFC’s distribution model. Under the new agreement, the traditional pay-per-view system will be abandoned. Instead, all UFC events, encompassing 13 numbered shows and 30 Fight Nights, will be accessible as part of a standard Paramount+ subscription. Additionally, certain numbered events will be simulcast on CBS.

The committee has formally requested briefings with the commissioners of four of the U.S.’s main professional leagues with the intention of discussing broadcasting markets and blackout exemptions.
