Sullivan County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a serious two-vehicle crash with injuries on August 2 near the intersection of Jackson and Oak Streets in Hymera. One driver was trapped in his vehicle and later died after being extricated and transported to a local hospital. The second driver suffered minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital. Indiana State Police assisted with crash reconstruction. The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate. No names have been released at this time.
