Youth Football and Cheer sign-ups are now open in Washington! Camp runs from July 28-30. Practices kick off on August 4th, with games beginning August 23rd at Hatchet Hollow. The 6th annual Silo Showdown 2 man golf tournament is slated for August 23rd with shotgun start at 8:00am at Country Oaks. This is a 27 hole two-man event which includes nine holes each of best ball, scramble, and alternate shot. Cost is $220 per team plus an optional $30 skin pot just a few spots remain. She appeared to, late in the game, aggravate the groin injury that sidelined her earlier in the month. Her status for this weekend’s all star game and 3 point contest will be evaluated.

The New York Jets are staying busy shoring up their young talent. Sauce Gardner signs 4-year, $120.4 million deal with team to become highest-paid cornerback of all time. A two-time All-Pro and Pro Bowler, Gardner, 24, has been one of the NFL’s top defensive backs since the Jets drafted him 4th overall in 2022 and earning Defensive Rookie of the Year that season.
Fauja Singh, the man believed to be the world’s oldest marathon runner, died Monday in Punjab, India, after being hit by a car. He was 114.
