There will be a public auction by the departments of the City of Washington on Friday, July 18, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Electric Department Garage at 2113 Memorial Avenue.
The Washington Park and Recreation Board will hold a meeting on July 16th in the Council Chambers located at 200 Harned Avenue beginning at 6:00 p.m. All interested citizens and patrons of any of the three parks – East Side, Longfellow, and South Park, are welcome to attend. Your comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
The City of Washington will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers at 200 Harned Avenue. The hearing will address Ordinance No. 12-2025, which proposes amendments to the city’s sewer rates and charges. Common Council and Board of Public Works & Safety meetings will immediately follow.
