The Frank Roberts Youth League has successfully wrapped up its fundraising campaign, far exceeding its goal to qualify for a $50,000 state grant. The effort ended on July 1 with a total of $80,338 raised from more than 144 supporters. With the goal met, organizers say they will begin finalizing project plans, ordering materials, and starting construction, ideally between now and next spring. Volunteers are encouraged to help with tasks like painting, wiring, and groundwork to stretch the funding further and accelerate Phase 2 of a planned 3-phase improvement project.
