The 40th Annual Shoals Catfish Festival kicks off July 3 and runs through July 6, featuring live music, food vendors, contests, and family fun across Shoals. Highlights include softball and kickball tournaments, fishing contests, parades, live entertainment, and a fireworks show on July 4 at 10 p.m. Events are spread throughout Main Street, the ballpark, and the old courthouse grounds. Daily activities include museum tours, auctions, parades, bike and car shows, food sales, and live bands. The event wraps up Sunday with volleyball, a pie-baking contest, and catfish cook-off.
