Portions of Main Street in Shoals will be closed today, as crews begin preparing for the demolition of the building at 232 Main Street.
The road closure is being implemented for public safety and will remain in effect until the work is completed.
Demolition is scheduled to begin this morning, with the project expected to wrap up by Friday, June 27.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and keep a safe distance from the demolition site.
