The Four Rivers Forestry Committee invites the public to a free presentation titled Bringing Back Good Fire on Tuesday, July 8 at 6 p.m. EDT at the Jasper Parklands Pavilion. Guest speaker Kat Shay, a forest ecologist and coordinator for the Hardwood Ecosystem Experiment, will discuss how prescribed fire has historically supported healthy ecosystems and how it continues to benefit forests and wildlife today.
