Minor flooding continues along the White River from Elliston southward, but water levels are gradually receding and are expected to fall below flood stage by Saturday morning.
The river crested at 18.3 feet overnight at Edwardsport, above the 15-foot flood stage, and was measured at 18.1 feet as of Wednesday evening.
Conditions are improving between Edwardsport and Hazleton, where levels have started to decline.
Flooding along the East Fork White River subsided earlier on Wednesday.
