When the trivia question is asked someday who was the first IHSAA Boys Volleyball State Champion? The answer is the Indianapolis Rocalli Royals (30-3) who defeated Indianapolis Cathedral 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-23) at Purdue University’s Mackey Arena. Also making the first ever final four was Lake Central and Fishers.

Knicks fire Tom Thibodeau after leading team to first Eastern Conference finals appearance in 25 years. Overall, Thibodeau went 226-174 in the regular season, and 24-23 in the playoffs as the Knicks’ head coach.
The Knicks now begin a search for their 32nd head coach and one that will have to figure out how to fix the two best players being complete defensive liabilities.
