It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Miley, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left us on May 31, 2025. Linda was born on December 1, 1943 in Vincennes the daughter of  Ursel Otis and Lillian (Wise) Harrell.
Linda was a devoted member of the Wheatland United Methodist Church, where she nurtured many relationships and extended her kindness to all. Her home was a haven filled with laughter, where she enjoyed sewing, baking, and cooking. She often alongside her beloved husband, Don enjoyed watching their favorite TV shows. Linda’s culinary creations and nurturing spirit brought joy to everyone around her.
More than anything, Linda took immense pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She found joy in celebrating their milestones and creating lasting memories that will forever be held in their hearts.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-three years, Don Miley of Wheatland; daughter, Theresa Christmas and her husband Tim of Monroe City; grandchildren, Curtis Christmas and his wife Amy, Cory Christmas and his wife Megan, Clayton Christmas and his wife Keely; great grandchildren Zane and Vance Christmas and Archer and Penelope Sue Christmas. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Ursel Otis and Lillian Harrell, brother, Jerry Harrell and her sister Lou Stafford.
As we prepare to say our goodbyes, the family invites all who knew Linda to join us in a visitation scheduled from Noon until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591.
