Washington Police and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest of a suspect tied to a recent armed robbery in Vincennes. After receiving suspect and vehicle information from Vincennes Police, a Washington detective spotted a vehicle matching the description. When the vehicle left the area, officers from WPD and DCSO conducted a traffic stop and detained multiple individuals without incident. A search of the vehicle led to the seizure of three handguns, one of which was confirmed stolen. As a result, 21-year-old Jonathan Crew was arrested for unlawful carrying of a handgun and driving while suspended. The investigation remains ongoing, with WPD K9 Fen assisting at the scene.
