
Johnathan Caleb Brinson, age 34, of Washington, passed away on May 13, 2025, in Washington, IN. Born on December 6, 1990, to Lena “Glenn” Brinson and the late Mark Dennis Brinson, Johnathan’s early years in the heart of Indiana were filled with joy and the close-knit warmth of a loving family.
Johnathan’s passion for the outdoors was evident from his hobbies, which included fishing, camping, kayaking, and the immersive world of video games. He channeled his amiable nature and sense of humor into forging lasting relationships both in his personal life and during his 10 years of dedicated service at Perdue. Prior to his untimely death, Johnathan was a steamer for On-Track Field Service. John spent countless hours cleaning equipment at a local coal mine.
A proud graduate of White River Valley, Johnathan extended his education at Vincennes University, pursuing a degree in Conservation Law Enforcement. He brought laughter and dedication to every undertaking. His work ethic was as strong as his sense of play, never stopping until he got the task done. He was a man known for his infectious laughter and his ability to make everyone around him feel like a friend. These qualities endeared him not only to his colleagues but also to everyone fortunate enough to cross paths with him. Though he was a man of few words, he left a big impact on the lives of those around him.
Johnathan leaves behind a lifetime of love and friendship. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Lena “Glenn” Brinson; his brothers, Casey (Destiny) Brinson and Matthew Brinson; his precious daughter, Blakelynn his grandmother, Adah Glenn; his niece, Delaney; his cherished friends, but more like brothers, Thomas Clements and Kevin Stone. and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. Johnathan now reunites with his father, Mark, his maternal grandfather, Cecil Glenn and his paternal grandparents, J.E. and Leota Brinson, who preceded him in death.
Johnathan’s memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew him as a beacon of light and laughter. His departure from this world leaves behind ripples of kindness that will resonate for many years to come. May he Rest In Peace.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and
pain will be no more, for the old things have passed away.”
