A Daviess County man was arrested early Sunday morning, May 18, on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Indiana State Police Trooper Noah Ewing and other officers were at Fast Eddie’s Service Station in West Baden when a bystander reported a possibly intoxicated man at the gas pumps. Officers observed 21-year-old Raymond J. Knepp of Odon, stumbling before getting into the driver’s seat of a vehicle. After confirming signs of impairment, Knepp was taken to IU Health in Paoli for a chemical test, then transported to the Orange County Jail. He is being held on bond and faces an OVWI charge, a Class C misdemeanor.
