Daviess County Sheriff’s Deputies are asking the public for assistance in locating a missing firearm following an incident late Friday night. On May 9 around 11:00 p.m., deputies responded to an incident in the town of Montgomery, with the investigation extending to areas east of town. During the response, a 12-gauge shotgun—missing its stock—was reported lost in the area. Authorities urge anyone who may find the firearm not to touch it and to immediately contact the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office at 812-254-1060.
