The Daviess County Treasurer’s Office is reminding residents that the first installment of property taxes is due by Monday, May 12. Taxpayers who have not received their statements are encouraged to contact the office at 812-254-8677. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Payments can be made online at www.lowtaxinfo.com, by phone at 812-389-0528, or in person at the Daviess County Government Center, located at 300 E. Hefron Street, Suite 214. Credit card payments are accepted but include a processing fee. If mailing payment, include a stamped, self-addressed envelope for a receipt and send early to ensure a timely postmark. Late postmarks may result in penalties.
