Knox County Engineer Resigns to Return to Gibson County

knox-5

Knox County Engineer Matt Holden has announced his resignation, effective soon, to return to his former role in Gibson County. At Tuesday’s commissioners meeting, Holden said the move comes after his home county lost out on significant road funding, including a $1.5 million Community Crossings grant. He believes his return can help prevent future missed opportunities. Hired by Knox County in mid-2023, Holden will stay on to complete ongoing projects before making the transition.
