The Daviess County Clerk’s Office is alerting residents that official postcards will soon be arriving in the mail as part of a statewide voter record update from the Indiana Election Division, a branch of the Secretary of State’s Office. Officials emphasize that this is not a scam. The postcards, expected to be mailed later in May, are part of efforts to ensure all registered voters’ information is accurate ahead of the 2026 elections. A sample image of the postcard will be posted on the WAMW Facebook page for reference. Voters are urged to read and follow the instructions on the card carefully. If you receive a card addressed to someone who no longer lives at your address, simply mark it “return to sender” and drop it back in the mail—no postage is needed.
