Barbara Lynn Spurgeon, 66, of Loogootee, Indiana passed away on Tuesday April 29, 2025, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana.
She was born on September 17, 1958, in Washington, Indiana to Charles and Rita (Carrico) Davis.
Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She treasured her grandchildren and the time she spent with her kids and family. Her family was her whole world, and she will be missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Scotty Davis, Dwight Davis, Larry Davis, Mary Davis, Jaqueline “Jackie” Davis, Edward Davis, Martin “Marty” Davis, Karen Wagler, Mariam Porter.
Barbara is survived by her children, Kelly Holt, Terry (Karen) Holt, Brandee L. Spurgeon, her grandchildren, Aidan Holt, Harley Spurgeon, Zach Williams, James Holt, Raiya Holt, her siblings, Ronald Davis, Greg (Debbie) Davis, Richard Davis, her boyfriend Jimmy McPherson and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday May 3, 2025, at 1:00 P.M at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee, Indiana.
Friends may visit on Saturday May 3, 2025, from 11:00 A.M until the time of service at 1:00 P.M with Pastor Debbie Davis to officiate. Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.blakefuneralhomes.com
