White River Valley High School sophomore Molly Settles is nearing the final stages of recovery at Daviess Community Hospital’s CORE Center following a torn ACL that sidelined her during basketball season. The injury, sustained mid-game, marked the first time Molly—an active multi-sport athlete—was forced off the court. After surgery in December, Molly began intensive rehab with CORE’s Clint Young, PT, DPT. Despite missing her season, Molly remained connected with her team, leading prayers and supporting from the sidelines. Now, with therapy wrapping up, she hopes to return to AAU basketball this summer and resume soccer in the fall. Inspired by her journey, Molly, who aspires to become a pediatrician, says the experience deepened her appreciation for healthcare.
