Local taxpayers will soon receive their Form 11 notices in the mail, signaling the start of the 45-day window to appeal property assessments for the 2025-pay-2026 tax year. A Form 11 provides the assessed value of land and improvements, which reflects the estimated market value of a property as if it were sold on the open market. In Indiana, property assessments are required to represent 100% of market value. Residents are encouraged to review their Form 11 carefully and note the postmarked date, which officially begins the appeal period. For more information, contact the Daviess County Assessor’s Office.
