The Huntingburg Police Department and Spencer County Sheriff’s Office are mourning the loss of the wife of Huntingburg Corporal Ted Klem, who was a former deputy sheriff in Spencer County. Klem was pronounced dead after being found by her twin sister trapped under a lawn mower. Klem was mowing near a pond when the mower tipped and trapped her underwater. After a series of tests and surgeries, she succumbed to her injuries. She leaves behind her husband, Ted, and her 8-month-old daughter, Madison. Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.
