A car chase that unfolded south of Vincennes on Friday resulted in a suspect’s injuries and damage to a state police car. Charges are pending against a 36-year-old Washington woman involved in the incident. The pursuit commenced at approximately 6 p.m. near Orville Road and came to an abrupt conclusion when the suspect allegedly crashed into a police vehicle. Master Trooper Goodman, who was preparing to deploy stop sticks at the time of the collision, escaped unharmed. However, the unnamed woman sustained severe injuries and was subsequently hospitalized.
