Upcoming Public Hearings in City Council Meeting: New Transit Bus and Alley Request on Agenda

The City of Washington has announced two public hearings that will take place during the upcoming City Council meeting on June 12 at 200 Harned Avenue. The first public hearing, scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., will address an ordinance that pertains to the acquisition of a new transit bus. Following the conclusion of Public Hearing #1, Public Hearing #2 will immediately follow. The agenda for Public Hearing #2 includes a request to vacate a portion of a 20-foot alley in the Doherty Addition in Washington. Details regarding the request will be presented, and community members are invited to share their thoughts and concerns. Following the public hearings, the Common Council and Board of Public Works and Safety meetings will take place.
