The Street Department is carrying out road repairs in your neighborhood and needs your cooperation for the final step of the project. They will be applying a surface treatment called Liquid Road, which is a durable and cost-effective solution that will last up to 10 years. This treatment will be applied to Dogwood, Glenwood, and Ridge Rd. (excluding the dead-end portion). The application process will take place starting June 12th and last for about 4 or 5 days. Each day, starting at 8 a.m., they will treat one side of each road until around 1 p.m. However, the treated area will need time to dry and cure, restricting access to that side of the street until it is fully cured. During this time, residents are encouraged to share driveways with neighbors whose side of the street is being treated. Access to streets will be possible but restricted to one lane during the application and drying process. Please note that the treated surface cannot be driven on until it has fully cured, which typically takes around 2 to 4 hours. Street Department staff will be present in the area to provide updates on when each lane can be reentered. Due to the extensive manpower required for this endeavor, please be aware that if the department is currently working with you on a project, it will unfortunately be put on hold until the completion of this road maintenance project.
