In the tennis regional the season comes to an end for Barr Reeve at the hands of the South Knox Spartans and Jasper tops North Daviess.

Barr Reeve’s Karlye Graber puts on another show. 6 IP, 14K’s no hits and no runs. Willow Thompson got the game going with a home run in the 1st inning, Grace Butcher hits a long ball and Emma Davis added a pair of two-run home runs. Vikings top the Cougars 10-0 for their 24th win of the year for Coach Josh Huff. Cougars end a fine season with 19 victories on the season. Stefan Wilson is officially out of the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500. Wilson suffered a fractured vertebra in the middle of his back after Katherine Legge tangled with him in Turns 1 and 2 during Monday’s practice session. With teams running race simulations in a big pack, cars ahead of Legge and Wilson slowed going into the turn, causing a chain reaction. Legge, though she lifted out of the throttle and downshifted, was unable to slow her car enough and ran into the back of Wilson, sending both into the wall.
Two-time Academy Award nominee Adam Driver, who will soon be starring as Enzo Ferrari in a biopic of the Italian automobile magnate, will serve as the honorary starter for the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday.
