Southridge has hired former Loogootee and Princeton Head Coach, Ryan Haywood, to fill the vacant head coaching position. The hire was made official at the Southwest Dubois School Board Meeting on Thursday.
Haywood spent four years in Loogootee, putting together a record of 76-24 which included a semi-state appearance this past season. Haywood also added a sectional championship in his final season at Princeton in 2019. The full release from Southridge High School can be viewed below.

Koepka carded a 3-under 67 in the final round on Sunday and was 9 under over 72 holes to win the Wanamaker Trophy for the third time, beating Scheffler and Hovland by 2 strokes
Bob Baffert, the most accomplished and controversial horse trainer in America, returned to the Triple Crown trail on Saturday and watched his colt National Treasure win the 148th running of the Preakness Stakes. The victory came after Baffert’s two-year ban from the sport’s premier stage because of a doping violation, and hours after another one of his horses died competing in an undercard race at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.
