Indiana Senator Mike Braun predicts the debt ceiling debate between President Joe Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy will go down to the wire, with a threat of a government shutdown. Braun said that neither side will do what’s right and take preemptive steps until important structures like interest rates and Medicare trust funds begin to fall apart.
Braun went on to say this is typical of Washington politicians putting on a show.
