Daviess County has been selected as one of only 12 communities in Indiana for the new HELP program. HELP is a legacy program designed to help Indiana communities make improvements post-pandemic and is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act. The goal is to build long-term capacity, develop projects, and leave a legacy. To do this, we need your input. The Daviess County Economic Development Corporation along with WAMW will host a live feedback forum on Facebook tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m. Our guests will be Economic Development Director Bryant Niehoff and Daviess County Commissioner Nathan Gabhart. We will be live to get your feedback on topics important to our community such as childcare, more housing, a culture and multi-purpose center, mental health, and other topics you feel are important to our overall quality of place. Chime in and let your voice and opinion be heard. Log onto our WAMW Facebook page tomorrow morning at 9:30am and join the conversation.
