An Evansville man has been charged in the death of a baby. The mother of an 18-month-old child needed someone to watch the baby Monday, and so she chose Tavion Cobb, someone she’s trusted with babysitting in the past. 14 News says come Tuesday morning, her son was returned to her unconscious and severely hurt – Tavion said “something happened” and the baby boy was taken to a hospital where he later died. The cops say the baby had physical injuries which led to that child’s death. Tavion Cobb was arrested, charged with murder and neglect.
