Pizza Delivery Goes Bad in Evansville

robbery-1-5

Pizza delivery goes bad. Now four people are facing charges after the altercation at an Evansville hotel.

It was at Bally’s Hotel on Riverside Drive on Thursday. The room was being rented out by 26-year-old Melecia Williams. Also in the room were Miranda Moore, David Arndell, and Marcus Osborne. That night, they ordered a pizza. When the pizza man arrived, Osborne attempted to trade some weed for pizza.

The delivery worker declined and requested payment. Osborne couldn’t pay for it. It was then that Osborne and Arndell assaulted the delivery worker.

Officers arrived at 10:30 p.m. and were directed to a hotel room where multiple people had refused to leave the hotel. Police detained the two men and two women inside and found drug paraphernalia and synthetic marijuana.

Osborne and Arndell were booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail on charges including robbery. Williams was booked on drug dealing and possession charges, and Moore was charged with visiting a common nuisance.
