It’s National Hospital Week.
National Hospital Week runs from May 8th through the May 14th.
National Hospital Day was first observed on May 12, 1921.
In 1953, the day was expanded to become National Hospital Week, presenting hospitals with more time to educate the public about medical care.
This year’s theme is “We Are Health Care” to recognize the women and men who work in America’s hospitals and health systems and the vital role they play in our society.
Good Samaritan will be celebrating Hospital Week with an annual employee cookout, giveaways, and activities free to all employees and volunteers.
