A woman from New Salisbury is facing multiple charges after leaving a restaurant without paying.

The Jasper Police Department responded to Shoney’s in Jasper on Saturday in reference to three people eating and leaving without paying for their meal. Further investigation revealed the individuals were staying at the Super 8 Hotel next store.

Two of the subjects were found at the hotel, but the other took some time to locate.  The other subject was found at a health food store on US 231 where she allegedly gave police a false name.

She was later identified as 40-year-old Tosha Linton. Linton was found to have several active warrants out of Crawford County and Harrison County.

Police searched Linton and found two clear plastic baggies with one containing several pills and the other containing meth.

She was arrested and booked into the Dubois County Jail.

Linton is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and with False Identity Statement.
