18-Year-Old Arrested for Trespassing in Jasper

Jasper Police officers arrested an 18-year-old for trespassing over the weekend.

On Sunday morning around 8:45 am, officers were called to a residence on Jackson Street in reference to a male subject who had entered a residence without permission.

The male was identified as 18-year-old Michael James of Huntingburg.

It was learned that James was previously trespassed from the residence by the owner.

After being medically cleared at Memorial Hospital, he was transported to the Dubois County Security Center.

Officers say while in the booking intake, James threatened to fight officers several times.

He was charged with Intimidation, Residential Entry, and Criminal Trespass.
