An 18-year-old has been arrested for attempted murder in Bloomington.
Hachime Abou was placed under surveillance after firing a handgun at a 17-year-old and injuring him outside of Tri-North Middle School on April 3rd.
On April 14th, officers learned Abou was in the Bloomington area and began following him.
Abou was the passenger in a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Bloomington woman.
When officers attempted to box them in, they tried to escape by driving into the patrol vehicle several times.
The woman and Abou, who was carrying a handgun at the time, were taken into custody.
