Washington High School to Recieve National Recognition

National officials from Project Lead the Way will be honoring Washington High School at a special celebration Tuesday afternoon.
The distinguished Project Lead the Way program at Washington High School is being honored based on the schools’ exemplary work in preparing students with the necessary knowledge and skills for career success.    Project Lead the Way says that Washington High School is the smallest school in Indiana and one of the smallest in the national to offer its students with all three Project Lead the Way educational pathways: engineering, biomedical science, and computer science.
The celebration includes national Project Lead the Way President Dr. Vince Bertram and Chief Impact Officer Dr. David Dimmett, along with local and area government, business, and education leaders.   The celebration is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, at Washington High School.
