A Jasper man is charged with battery following an incident last night.
Around 6:20 pm on Thursday, Jasper Police officers were dispatched to a residence on Newton Street after receiving a call about a domestic battery situation.
Officers arrived on scene to investigate and later placed 37-year-old Joshua Wade into custody.
He is charged with Domestic Battery in the Presence of a Child Less than 16 Years of Age and Interfering with Reporting a Crime.
He was booked into the Dubois County Jail.
