The Knox County Sheriff’s Office has launched a new app for the public.
The department recently announced that Google Play and Apple have both approved the Knox County Sheriff’s App.
The app is now available for everyone to download.
There is a wealth of information on the app including push notifications to alert you of critical information in real time.
The app also features inmate information, handgun permits, sheriff sale information, and even some history of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office says their expectation is that this will allow the public to access needed information quickly while also keeping the residents closely connected to their Sheriff’s Department.
