Several area organizations took part in Random Acts of Kindness Day on Thursday.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office is thanking Kimball Electronics for their act of kindness. Kimball Electronics donated a basket full of popcorn and snacks to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office. The department says their generosity and thoughtfulness is much appreciated.
The Vincennes Civitan Club wanted to take the opportunity to show kindness and appreciation to those who protect the community. The members visited the Vincennes Police Department, Vincennes University Police Department, Knox County Sheriff’s Department, and the Vincennes City and Vincennes Township Fire Stations. They were able to thank them for protecting the community and even left behind a few treats for them to enjoy.
Springs Valley Bank & Trust also participated and donated sock hats to the Princeton Police Department. The department posted a thank you on their Facebook Page saying, “Thank you Springs Valley Bank for your awesome donation to keep our officers warm! Very kind donation of sock hats!”
