The City of Washington is making the public aware of utility scams that are surfacing throughout the area.
Residents have reported receiving inaccurate bills that look like they are coming from the city, but are actually scams.
The city tells residents that if you ever have a question about your utility bill, you can call the office at (812)-254-2730 or (812)-254-5171.
