Indiana’s bird flu outbreak is growing.
The State Board of Animal Health says there is a positive infection at a second turkey farm in Dubois County, which is not far from where state and federal regulators discovered the first cases last week.
Nearly 26,000 turkeys at the second farm will have to be destroyed.
Bird flu doesn’t infect people, but it affects the farming industry and trade between Indiana and surrounding states.
